Year 6 Confirmation Certificate Mass

On the 27 of November, the Year Sixes of 2025 who had received the Sacrament of Confirmation earlier in the year were presented with their Confirmation certificates. The certificate included the candidates name, the date and place of the ceremony as well as the names of our Parish Priest; Reverend Andrezej Madry (aka Father Andrew) and Bishop Reverend Peter A. Commensoli. We celebrated morning Mass at Good Shepherd Church and at the end of the ceremony, our teachers called out our names and we went up to the altar to collect our certificates from Mrs Marshall and Father Andrew.

We shook their hands and stood on the altar step until everyone had received their certificates. It was a really exciting experience receiving and being presented our certificates.

On Thursday the 27th of November, the majority of the year 6 students received their confirmation certificates. It was a great honour to receive a certificate, symbolising the hard work we put in to make it happen. Many parents were sitting in the pews, supporting us in this significant milestone. Anticipation was in the air all during the mass, especially as each name was slowly called out. Eventually, my name was called out. I stood up, shook Father Andrews and Mrs Marshall's hand, and I joined my classmates on the stairs to the altar. I felt so proud, receiving this symbolic certificate. To summarise, it was a great honor to receive a certificate we all worked so hard for. We all felt proud of each other, and it was such a momentous occasion.
