F/1/2 CLASSROOM

The F/1/2 class have had an amazing year of learning. It has been amazing to see how much they have learned and grown since January. Today they have spent time with their classmates and teacher/s for 2025, and there has been a lot of excitement.

Over the last two weeks, the students have started to wrap up their core instruction for the year. They have finished their phonics lessons, book studies, unit on measurement and many more learning experiences. We will be spending the final week and a half working on consolidation and revision of concepts, as well as some Christmas activities.

The students have also participated in lots of extra activities.

The students have participated in Production. All the F/1/2s have worked really hard over the past two terms to learn their songs, dances, and how to play the ukelele. It was great to see their enthusiasm on stage as they performed and overcame their pre-show jitters.

The F/1/2 students had a blast at the Swimming Carnival. They cheered on the older students before participating in their own races and challenges. Once in the pool, they showed off their swimming skills and ability to move through water.

We have also celebrated the End of Year Mass and Grade 6 Graduation. The F/1/2s were excitedly talking about the Grade 6 slideshow leading up to the event and could not wait to see what pictures were included. During the Mass and the awards, all the F/1/2s did an amazing job at focusing and being respectful, despite the heat of the Church.

All F/1/2 families should be proud of how their child/ren have behaved, grown, and represented themselves this year. I am going to miss teaching them all next year.
