Year 5/6 Learning Reflection

Welcome to a new and exciting school year!
We have hit the ground running.
Our students have been busy with 'getting to know you' activities and getting into the Grade 5/6 routines. We have been settling the student in with 'do now' activities that set the tone for the school day.
As part of our Maths lessons the students have been learning about Data - plotting dot points, constructing side-by-side column graphs and ruling bar graphs.
Our new serial read 'Can you see me' by Libby Scott and Rebecca Westcott, will be guiding a lot of our Literacy work this term - Reading and Writing. The students have been learning about a the main character, Tally, an 11 year old student who has autism.
Congratulations to all our new Grade 6 student leaders.
