Prep Learning Reflection

It has been great getting to know the students and their families so far this term. We look forward to building this connection further during our annual Prep Picnic next week on Thursday the 13th of February. Two weeks after that, we'll have an opportunity to discuss how your children have begun Prep, their learning goals and the term's learning programs during our Parent Teacher Interviews.

To best support the students, please make your best efforts to be at the lineup areas before the music begins at 8:55am, ready to meet their teacher. Additionally, breakfast everyday is important to ensure students are ready to learn. If this is something that is difficult to be supported at home, the school's breakfast club is open from 8:40 and provide free, delicious breakfast.

So far this Term, the students have made an amazing effort getting to know their teachers, classmates and their wider school cohort. We've been writing our names, counting to 10, learning about the 'blue zone', learning how to learn in the classroom, move around the school and communicate in and out of the classroom.

We've had a wonderful day of Specialists and have been to our first Whole School Assembly. The Prep Team have been amazed with the students efforts and look forward to seeing them continue to grow, learn and thrive this year!
