Leadership Communication

Dear Families,
What an incredible first full week back with our learners for 2025! Each year group has confidently settled back into routines, and it has been heartwarming to see our students embrace their learning with enthusiasm. As the days passed, we witnessed their stamina for focus and engagement grow, and their excitement for new challenges shine through.
We are incredibly proud of the super settled learning environments across all classrooms. It has been wonderful to see students rekindling friendships, offering warm welcomes to new classmates, and sharing wide smiles as they reconnect with teachers and peers.
From engaging discussions to collaborative activities, our students have shown resilience, kindness, and a readiness to make this year a fantastic one. We look forward to an exciting term ahead, filled with curiosity, growth, and a love of learning.
Here’s to a brilliant year at St Thomas the Apostle Primary! 🌟

Bike Education @ St Thomas the Apostle
Yesterday, we had Bike Education instructors come to our school. Students in Year 4 were able to learn about riding a bike, taking care of your bike and how to ride safely.
Some students brought their own bike to school for the incursion and some students were able to borrow a bike that was provided by the instructors. Some students improved on skills they already had and some students rode a bike for the first time!
We might be able to get the Bike Ed people back for other learning communities this year. Then we may become successful at getting more people to see the value in riding to school and reduce the amount of traffic.
