Principal's Message

Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,

Welcome Back to school for 2025.  We have been working hard in preparation for the return of our students this Thursday, 6th February.  We welcome Kindergarten and their families to our school who will also start on Thursday.  We are looking forward to a very productive year with many activities along the way.

School Permission Notes and Procedures

We will be implementing a new system with regards to permission notes and other information coming home from school.  Details in regards to these systems will be provided in coming newsletters.

Behaviour Focus, School Values & Over and Above Awards

We will again be focusing on behaviour and our school values this year.  All students will again receive a rewards chart that they will complete when they receive their over and above awards.  More details on rewards will come.

Hours of Operation

Please note that our staff are involved in other activities such as meetings, and preparation for the day until 8:30am, therefore, children will not be supervised before this time.  Our office operates between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday.  

School Swimming Carnival

Our Annual School Swimming Carnival will take place at Werris Creek Memorial Swimming Pool next Monday, 10th February 2025.  Students in Yrs 3-6 and those in Year 2 who are turning 8 years old in 2025 and are competent swimmers will be attending.  A note will be sent home tomorrow with all of the details.
