Important - School Saving Bonus

Any parents that are yet to log onto the School Saving Bonus Portal please do so as soon as possible following the instructions below.

To use any portion of the $400 SSB on any school related activities (including excursions, sport, camps etc) please note that you must go into the SSB Portal and allocate the money to “Activities”. You are not selecting a specific activity at this stage, rather an amount you wish to have available to use at the school.

We cannot allocate SSB monies to any school activities unless you have allocated the funds in the SSB Portal beforehand.

This is a critical step in the process and must be done by each individual family using their voucher number for each child. If you cannot find the Department email with your voucher number(s), please contact the Office.

STEP 1: Go to the portal and type in your voucher no. https://www.vic.gov.au/school-saving-bonus

STEP 2:  Select "School Activities"

STEP 3:  Select the amount you would like to spend on school camps, excursions, sport, etc.

STEP 4:  Complete the google form sent by Syndal South PS via Compass Newsfeed to select the specific activities you want to use the bonus for.
