This term, our ATSI students have enjoyed a busy and rewarding term, strengthening their connections with community, culture, and language through a range of meaningful experiences.
The term began with our boys participating in a hands-on didgeridoo workshop, where they learnt about the cultural significance of the instrument before creating and taking home their own handmade, working didgeridoos.

Throughout the term, students have also continued to develop their knowledge of Anaiwan language during Dulla sessions with Uncle Dave Widders. These sessions have provided valuable opportunities to learn language while deepening their understanding of local culture and Country.

Most recently, our senior students attended the Warraymalaya Retreat, an experience that encourages cultural connection, leadership, and personal growth. For some of our Year 12 students, including Mal and Abby, this was their final Warraymalaya Retreat as they approach the end of their school journey. It was a special opportunity to reflect on their time at school, celebrate their achievements, and strengthen the connections they will carry with them into the future.

We are incredibly proud of all our ATSI students for the enthusiasm, respect, and commitment they have shown throughout the term and look forward to more opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate culture together.
