Founders Day and Official Building Works Opening

It was a memorable day at O'Connor today as we celebrated two significant milestones.

We began the day by reflecting on the history of our founders and the importance of Founders Day, celebrating their vision and the charisms that continue to inspire and guide our community today. Our teachers then kicked off the celebrations in style with a fabulous fashion show, setting a fun exciting tone for the day.

This was followed by a beautiful Founders Day Mass. We extend our sincere thanks to Father Paul Chandler for leading us in service and helping us reflect on the values that unite us as a school community.

We were also delighted to celebrate the official opening of the new and refurbished facilities at OCC. It was an honour to welcome Bishop Peter Murphy, who blessed these wonderful new learning spaces, marking an exciting new chapter for our college.

The day concluded with our annual Founders Day Concert, a fitting finale to the term that showcased the incredible talents of our students. Their performances were a wonderful reminder of the creativity, dedication, and spirit that make our community so special.

A heartfelt thank you to Father Paul Chandler, Bishop Peter Murphy, Mrs Regina Menz, and all of our distinguished guests for joining us as we celebrated this special occasion. It was a day filled with faith, gratitude, community, and celebration.
