Welcome to Week 7 of Term 2 at Leongatha Primary School

Dear Families

Welcome to Week 7 at Leongatha Primary School.

This week we are excited to welcome prospective families to our school as our Kindergarten Tours take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. These tours provide a wonderful opportunity for families to see our learning environment in action, meet staff and students, and experience the strong sense of community that makes our school so special.

On Thursday, a number of our students will represent our school at the Regional Cross Country event. We congratulate all students who have qualified and wish them every success as they compete. We are incredibly proud of their effort, determination and sportsmanship.

Please note that Friday is a Student Free Day. Staff will be completing the fourth and final day of Berry Street Education Model training. This professional learning supports our continued focus on trauma-informed practice, helping us to strengthen positive relationships, wellbeing and engagement for all students across our school community.

We look forward to another fantastic week of learning and achievement at Leongatha Primary School.
