Sacramental Program: First Eucharist and Confirmation

Gallery Image

We keep our Year 3 students in our prayers as they continue their special faith journey through the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation. This is a very meaningful milestone in their spiritual lives, as they deepen their relationship with God and their understanding of the Church community.

Several of our students have already celebrated these beautiful sacraments on the 30th and 31st May, with others preparing to celebrate on the 13th and 14th June. We congratulate all of our candidates on their commitment and reverence during this important time.

We wish each of them and their families every blessing as they take this significant step in their faith journey.

Liturgy for the Feast of the Sacred Heart

As a school community, we will gather on Friday 19 June from 1 - 1:30,to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, an important occasion in the Catholic tradition. This feast reminds us of Jesus’ great love for all people, symbolised through His Sacred Heart — a heart full of compassion, mercy and kindness. It calls us to reflect on how we can show that same love in our daily lives through our words and actions.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart also invites us to reach out to those in need within our community. In this spirit, we acknowledge and support the work of organisations such as St Vincent de Paul (St Vinnies), who tirelessly care for those experiencing hardship. By giving generously and acting with compassion, we live out the message of the Sacred Heart.

Following this celebration, we will hold a casual clothes day on the last day of term (Friday, 26th June) as a way of supporting those in need. We encourage students to participate and contribute a gold coin donation via CDF Pay, which will be given to the St Vinnies Winter Appeal, helping us make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful celebration together with our students.
