Prep Community 

In the Year Prep Community, we've been having an absolute blast with our series of unplugged activities! These hands-on experiences have been all about building essential skills in the most fun and engaging ways possible. Our journey started with dancing and singing, where we moved to the rhythm while mastering our left and right sides. The energy in the room was contagious as the children grooved along, learning without even realizing it!

But the fun didn't stop there. We delved into a world of games, puzzles, and mazes, each designed to sharpen our problem-solving skills. These activities have been a wonderful way to prepare us for the exciting challenges ahead with Bee Bots and Scratch on the iPads.

The children have shown incredible enthusiasm, especially when tackling the mazes. The joy on their faces was priceless when they successfully navigated a tricky path or beat a particularly challenging puzzle. Their excitement was infectious, and it was clear that these activities were not just educational but also immensely rewarding.

We’re thrilled to see our Year Prep students growing in confidence and skills, ready to take on new digital adventures with Bee Bots and Scratch. It’s been a fantastic start to our journey, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll achieve next!

Cyber Safety Project

As a reminder from last week, The Cyber Safety Project has recently brought out a Podcast Series for parents called DigiKnow, and now, they have also launched a DigiKnow Podcast for Kids!! 

Sam and Trent facilitate open, honest and real conversations about staying secure, safe and well online. 

These podcasts are great for the kids to listen to on the drive to school, sports training, dance rehearsal, coding club or music lesson. They want the whole family to be involved!

Please make use of them. They are super easy to listen to and very engaging.
