2025 College Captains
After a diligent selection process, we are very excited to announce the 2025 Charlton College School Captains are Fletcher Holmes-Brown and Emmersyn Nelson.
Fletcher and Emmersyn will also be supported by their Vice-Captains Annie Olive and Elise Fitzpatrick. Congratulations to our 2025 leaders, we look forward to watching you grow and lead the college in a positive direction in 2025.
2024 School Magazine
If you would like to purchase a school, payments need to be made via the office by Friday 20th of September.
Footy Colours Day & Big Breakfast:
Next Friday (20th September) the SLC will be holding a Football Colours Day and Big Breakfast starting at 8:30am-9:00am.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday 19th from 3.30pm – 7.00pm. More information will be sent via COMPASS this week.
School Saving Bonus
Dear parents and carers,
In Term 4, 2024, families with a child enrolled in a government school from Prep to Year 12 in 2025 will receive the one-off $400 School Saving Bonus.
The $400 School Saving Bonus provides families with support for education-related costs, such as school activities and/or school uniforms and textbooks.
The School Saving Bonus is not available for full-fee international students, home schooled students, TAFE students and students attending kindergarten in 2025.
Actions for parents and carers
Before 18 October 2024, the Department of Education is asking parents and carers to:
- Complete enrolment: If your child, or children are changing government school for Term 1 2025, or starting Prep or Year 7 in 2025. For more information, read about Enrolling in School.
- Check your contact information: Ensure your email address and phone number is up to date with us. You can check this information by contacting us directly.
We need to ensure your contact information is up to date as the Department of Education will email you twice:
- in October, to verify your email address
- in November, with your $400 School Saving Bonus and access to an online system.
Please check your junk mail regularly to make sure you do not miss an important email.

School Student Broadband Initiative
The Australian Government's School Student Broadband Initiative is offering a helping hand to 30,000 eligible families with school-aged students across the nation with access to a free NBN internet service. The initiative, designed to enhance educational opportunities and bridge the digital divide, is available to all Victorian families with school aged students.
Key Details:
- Application Deadline: Tuesday, 31 December 2024
- Free Services: Continues until 31 December 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
For families and carers to qualify, they must:
- Have an active enrolment at school
- Not have an active NBN internet service at home (excluding mobile internet services)
- Live in an area where NBN can be accessed through a standard connection (NBN Co will confirm this)
- Not have had an active NBN connection during the previous 14 days.
Eligible families and carers can contact NBN Co’s National Referral Centre on 1800 954 610 or visit anglicarevic.org.au/student-internet to request a call back to confirm their eligibility.
