We are nearly at the end of the 2024 VET year.
Most students will finish their VET courses in the last week of October. Some students will be invited to complete additional units to fully complete their certificates and their teachers will confirm this with them closer to the end of the normal VET program.
The 2025 VET Enrolment process will be completed in early term 4 and it has been very pleasing to see that most students have completed their applications in a timely manner and most will be able to secure the VET course of their choice. This will be confirmed verbally with students mid term 4. Students will receive a letter in the mail in mid December that will confirm their VET course, it’s location, start date, times, clothing requirements etc.
Students can expect to receive their end of year VET reports in the middle to end of November and certificates or statements of attainments toward the end of December.
If students need their results earlier to pass on to prospective employers please pop into the VET office and we can organize results to be fast tracked.
Our Second Year Health Services Assistance VET Classes attended the Ambulance Historical Society of Victoria’s Museum in Bayswater during term 3 where they were able to look at how Ambulances have changed over time. The students looked at the equipment that used to be available in the “olden days” and compare it to the equipment and care that is now available to patients in an emergency situation. A great day was had by all who attended.
