Allergy Season

Spring has sprung and hay fever or seasonal allergic rhinitis is on the rise.

Itchy ears or throat, runny nose, sneezing, headaches and watery eyes can all impact your child’s school day making them feel tired and unwell.

Seasonal hay fever occurs mainly in Spring and Summer and affects people allergic to pollens.

If your child suffers from hay fever it is important that you provide the school with an Action Plan for Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever)

These plans are medical documents and must be completed and signed by your GP.  If your child needs medication or antihistamines to be stored or administered at school, please complete an Administration of Medication Authority Form.

All medications must be supplied in original packaging and clearly labelled with student’s name.
