On behalf of the PA I would like to extend my huge thanks to Melissa West for organising such a wonderful event for the OLGC mothers last Friday.The 2024 OLGC Ladies Lunch was held at Amazon State and it was a wonderful way to start Term 4, bringing the community together and strengthening the bonds that make our school such a welcoming place. 

For some of our Grade 6 mums, this was their last Ladies Lunch, and we warmly welcomed the Prep mums who are new to our school. Events like this play a vital role in building a strong, supportive community where lasting friendships are formed, and the spirit of OLGC is shared and celebrated. It was a day filled with laughter, entertainment and a true sense of belonging. 

A special thank you to the Year 2 Mums for organising, the Toscanos for the beautiful flowers and George McMahon, owner of the Briquettes, for their generous donations, which helped make this event truly special.
