All welcome to come and see the learning that has been happening in our Year 8 classes through the topics of 'Is Freedom Earned?' and 'Our Perceptions and Connections'.

Displays will feature work from a number of subject areas.

Can you help?

Next term, the Year 8's begin two new topics.

We are looking for experts in their field to share their knowledge. This could be through presenting as an expert in the field, sharing an idea that we may not have thought of, or sharing your own personal journey, either in writing or in person.

The two new topics are:

Motion and Transformation

• Pythagoras' Theorum and connection with sport and movement
• Migrant stories
• Kinetic and potential energy through models and scientific evidence and experiments
• The historical migration movement of people, goods and basic needs

Enough is Enough - Water More Precious than Gold

• Water usage and wastage, audit of water use at school
• Local rivers, dreamtime and other stories
• Body systems, role of water in the body
• The importance of water quality
• Ground water, contamination, and threats to human safety
