Swimming Carnival 27th September 

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday at the 2024 Swimming Carnival please find below some reminders:

Date:     Friday 27th September 2024

Venue:   Des Renford Aquatic Centre 

Transport:  Students are to arrive at school at normal time and transported to the event via bus - parents are welcome to collect students from the event. 

Event order & timings: Please see the attached pdf document for the event order & timings. 

Uniform:  Students are to wear swimming costumes under their sports uniform. They may wear appropriate t-shirts, ribbons, socks etc in the colour of their sports house. No spray on hair colour is to be worn.

Food:  Recess and lunch should be brought from home along with sufficient drinks for the day. Children are not permitted to go to or use the canteen but parents may go to buy something for their child. 

Parking:  Please note that there is limited parking available at the venue. Free car parks can be found at various locations around Heffron Park (Netball courts, New Rabbitohs Heffron Centre). Street parking in the area is mostly 2P. 

Seating:  Children must sit in colour house teams in the grandstand. Parents can sit with their childrens colour team.
