YEAR 4 CAMP

What a fantastic few days our Year 4 students enjoyed at Camp Manyung last week! The weather was absolutely perfect, setting the scene for an unforgettable experience.

Students had an incredible time rotating through a range of exciting activities, including the Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Tree Rolling, Low Ropes Course, UHF Radios, bike riding, and beach activities such as Beach Games and Marine Discovery. There was truly something for everyone, and plenty of opportunities to try new things.

Throughout the camp, our students represented the school beautifully. They challenged themselves, supported and encouraged one another, and embraced every moment with enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see them developing independence, building friendships, and creating lasting memories together.

Camps like these are only possible with the dedication and commitment of our staff. We extend our sincere thanks to our Year 4 camp team—Susie Modin, Rachel Kelly, Satoshi Okita, Haishi Qin, Betty Zhang, Danni Peters, Jess Newbold, Lisa Veitch, Laura Pugliese, Sandra Mazzocca, and Winter Washington—for giving up time with their own families to ensure our students had such a rewarding experience.

A special thank you also goes to Tanja Jansen for her invaluable work behind the scenes in organising the camp.

JOHN MONASH SCIENCE SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM

This term we have four students attending the John Monash Science School "Little Scientists' outreach program. Across four  sessions, these students engage in interactive learning experiences guided and mentored by JMSS Year 10 and Year 11 students, who support and lead them through each activity.  As you can see from the photos - we might have some future scientists
