All visitors, volunteers and contractors must sign in at the office with a valid Working With Children Check. Inductions must be completed before working or volunteering at the school.
TOILETS
Please ensure adults and visitors do not access the student toilets. A toilet for adults and visitors is available in the office foyer.
CAR PARK
Parents are reminded to not drop off or pick up students from the no standing areas outside the school office. This causes a significant safety issue and also disrupts the flow of traffic.
Please ensure adherence to all signs in the car park to ensure our school is accessible for all visitors.

Wellbeing Surveys
Thank you to all the families who responded to our Wellbeing Survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, as it helps us identify areas of concern and understand how we can better support our students. We truly appreciate your insights. By working in partnership with families, we can continue to build a safe, positive, and welcoming school environment where every student feels happy and motivated to attend.
Students from Years 1–6 recently participated in our online Wellbeing Survey. Their responses once again indicate that the majority of students feel safe at school, which is reassuring. However, this does not lessen our responsibility to address any concerns that were identified. The survey provides valuable information that enables us to respond promptly and continue strengthening a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
In the coming weeks, we will share several initiatives that will be implemented in response to the survey findings. Student voice remains central to this process. Mrs Bruitzman meets regularly with student representatives from each year level to gather feedback and discuss opportunities for improvement. We encourage families to remind their children to speak with their representative if they have suggestions about enhancing our school community.
Family engagement, open communication, and ongoing support play a vital role in student wellbeing. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you to ensure every student feels valued, supported, and well‑positioned for success.
Supporting the mental health of primary‑aged children is an increasingly important focus for schools and families. Research indicates that a significant number of children experience challenges related to anxiety, emotional regulation, friendships, and overall wellbeing during their primary years. While many children navigate these challenges successfully with the right support, early awareness and intervention can make a meaningful difference.
At school, we continue to prioritise wellbeing through explicit teaching of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 Capabilities. We provide regular opportunities for students to share their experiences, in the classsroom or with identified trusted adults within the school. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels safe, connected, and confident to seek help when needed.
Families also play a vital role in supporting children’s mental health. Some helpful approaches include:
Seeking support early — If concerns arise, speaking with your child’s teacher, wellbeing staff, or a health professional can provide clarity and guidance.
As a school, we remain committed to working in partnership with families to promote strong mental health and wellbeing. Together, we can ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and ready to thrive.
