Parents Battle of the Bands

Parents Battle Of the Bands is back for 2026 and Newlands Primary’s very own ‘Escuela de Rock’ are playing the first heat at The Croxton Bandroom on Thursday 14 May starting 7pm.

Tickets are on sale now (link below). Only $36 for 7 bands all raising money for local participating schools!

The real winner is the school that brings the biggest crowd and hence raises the most funds!

This is Newlands first time entering this competition so come along and support us! And yes, you might need to call in sick for work on Friday…

Make sure you choose “Escuela de Rock” when you buy your ticket!
