Commitment to recycling

Hillsmeade Primary School is committed to reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill. We have recently introduced yellow comingled recycling bins into all classrooms and are educating students around the benefits of recycling what we can. 

Hillsmeade is now registered with the container deposit scheme to accept donations. 

Collect your cans, bottles and tetra packs and drop them off at any Victorian Container Deposit Scheme collection point, type our Zone ID barcode number, or scan the barcode below and your donation will be sent to us at Hillsmeade! 

Recycling eligible containers earns 10cents per container. There is a collection located at Casey Central, and many other convenient locations nearby.
