Our Learning

Welcome back to Out of school hours care for Term 2!

After running a fun filled vacation care which included incursions, cooking experiences and lots of play based learning activities we are now back into Term 2 resuming our normal OSHC hours.

Over the vacation care period students thoroughly enjoyed the Super Cody drone workshop incursion, a variety of cooking experiences and different art and craft activities. 

The students loved the Rocky Road cooking activity, and they had fun doing the Easter activities as well. We even had a mini-Olympics Easter special!

 They also enjoyed some quiet time in the movie room watching a variety of G rated movies.

ARTS CRAFTS

Students loved making insects using pop sticks and creating and decorating picture frames. They were engaged in doing stamp and marble painting, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

DRAMATIC PLAY

Students created animal houses, enacted roleplay using magnetic connectors, and enjoyed playing various board games.

SPORTS

Over the last fortnight students took part in various organized games and some free time played out on the oval and in the hall with a variety of equipment. The favorite games this week were capture the ball and king ball.

MOVIES

The chosen G rated movies this week included Frozen, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Looney tunes and Pokémon.
