BSC's Parents Association (PA) is well into the swing of 2024. We have had fabulous new members join us and a sociable start to the year. Last week the Bands Night Nibbles event had a real buzz, so look out for more of these social opportunities throughout the year.

Earlier this term the PA Social Night at the Hotel Railway was a fun evening. The event featured plenty of new faces with around 25 people attending over the course of the night - and a merry posse staying on until closing time! The Parents' Association will stage another social night in Term 3, so watch Compass Newsfeed for the details. 

Thank you to the management and staff of Hotel Railway;  this venue is a valued sponsor of Brunswick Secondary College.

Second-hand Uniform Sales

The Parents' Association's other main activity has been executing the second hand uniform sales. Many thanks to Karen Di Florio and Gill Ward for running this valuable service each term. The next sale will be held on Thursday, June 13.  These sales appear on students' timetables, so that they are made aware of opportunities to replenish their school wardrobes. Sales operate until 4.15pm on sale days, so that students have ample opportunity to attend after the end of the school day.

Trivia Night - Friday August 16 - Save the Date!

The Parents' Association's current focus is organising this year's Trivia Night, which will be held on the evening of 16 August. It was a sold out event last year - and we all had a blast - so consider starting now if you're organising a table! 

Tickets will be released soon ($30 per person) and details will be circulated via Compass Newsfeed and we especially look forward to the company of our new Year 7 parents joining the ranks this year.  Remember, all proceeds from the event are contributed directly to support programs and projects that enhance your child/ren's learning experience at BSC.

Thanks also to our members and Sally Goss (Assistant Principal) for their contributions to our events and activities, and to the broader community for bringing the fun.
