Registrations CLOSE today for the following Term 2 Co-Curricular activities:
Registrations close at 5.00pm on Friday 5 April 2024. To register, please click here and complete the Google form.
Please ensure that students and Parents/Guardians consult before registration to avoid duplicate entries or registering for activities that the student does not wish to participate in. St Virgil's College is an all-inclusive school and therefore will try to ensure all students that register will be able to participate in their chosen activity. Where numbers and/or resources dictate, selection trials may be required.
Further information regarding rosters, days, times, teams, and/or training details for the above Term 2 Co-Curricular Activities will be provided as soon as possible.
The College will transport students from Austins Ferry after school to their respective venues each afternoon via bus. Parents/carers are to collect the boys promptly after their match or training.
Students are required to provide their own sport-specific uniforms (different to the official school-day sports uniform), which can be purchased through the Uniform Shop. The Uniform Shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8.00am - 4.00pm or can be contacted at 6249 3610 or st.virgils@midford.com.au.
It is a condition of participation in all SVC Sport Programs that students consistently meet the College's behaviour and academic effort expectations. Representing the College is a privilege and ongoing participation in Co-Curricular activities is subject to behaviour tracking and advice from Heads of House and College Leadership.

Saxon, Llewellyn, and Alex were also recently picked for the Tasmanian Schools Pathway State Team. They will represent Tasmania to compete in the Pathway Regatta in Sydney from 12 April to 16 April.
The sporting success continues for sVc students, with Lewis Kenny (Year 11), when he recently competed in the Australian Clay Target Association National Championship in Wagga, representing Tasmania in the junior team.
Lewis had a very successful competition, coming in 2nd in the Australian Junior National Single Barrel Championship. He then went on to win the Australian Junior Mackintosh Team High Gun, which gained him a place in the 3-person Australian International Junior Team that will compete at the World DTL Championships in England in July 2024 (during the school holidays).
Lewis is the first Tasmanian junior shooter to achieve this honour and represent Australia in his age group.
He also attained a personal best, gaining a 200-target break badge by shooting 241 targets over two days with no misses.
Congratulations to Lewis! The College is very proud of your achievements with the dedication and mental discipline you have demonstrated.
Congratulations to Thomas Alomes (Year 10) and Zac Pfitzner (Year 9) for their achievements at Cricket Tasmania Awards Night last week.
Thomas won the Batting Aggregate for U16s, whilst Zac won the Tim Paine Medal for the Best Overall Player in U16s.
