DISTRICT SWIMMING 2024

Congrats to Amelia, Emmy, Lachlan, Jacob, James N, James G, Sya and Cynthia for representing OHR at the District Swimming meet on Thursday 29th February. Congratulations to James N and the Boys 12/13 Relay Team who made it to Division.

A great effort.

DISTRICT TENNIS 2024

Well done to Poppy and James who will be representing the North Balwyn District at the Boroondara Division Yellow Ball Tennis Championships.

OHR SPORTS DAY 2024

TODAY!!

The Our Holy Redeemer House Sports Carnival is being held TODAY at Box Hill Athletics Track  from 9.15am until 12.00pm.

The children will need to wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring play lunch clearly named.

We are travelling by bus to and from the Box Hill track as a whole school. The bus will leave OHR at approx 8.50am and return to school by approx 12.15pm for sausage sizzle and break up at 1pm.

If parents wish to take their children home after the carnival they MUST pick the children up from school and sign them out at the office.

If you are able to help with setting up (9.00am) and packing up of the school marquees (12.15pm) at the track could you please meet at the track at 9am.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*Remember to wear your sports colours and a safety pin 

*Weather is looking good (never rains on a Thursday! )

The children have been training hard during P.E and Fitness and we all look forward to a FANTASTIC 2024 Sports Day.

OHR SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY Yr 3-6

On a Thursday 2nd May between 12.30pm and 2.30pm, all children in Years 3 - 6 will be participating in the OHR School Cross Country. We are running it as a house event. The event will be held at Macleay Park Belmore Rd Nth Balwyn (Mel Ref: 46 C 5). The start/finish of the event will be at Oval 5 just behind the North Balwyn Scout Hall. There is ample parking available.

The Years 3 & 4 children will run approx. 1500 metres and Years 5 & 6 will be running approx. 2000 metres.

The School Cross Country is being held in the lead up to the North Balwyn District Cross Country which will be run on Friday 10th May 2024 at Macleay Park. Due to the fact that we are restricted in the number of the children we are able to enter into the District Event, the selection of the school team will be based on the results of our School Cross Country.

It is a great opportunity for the students to do some 

running training over the school holidays.
