Earth Hour

Green Team’s first event for the year has been Earth Hour. On Monday, classes participated by completing learning without the use of any electricity. This meant turning off the lights and screens in our classrooms and in some cases getting outside for some learning. 

Classes discussed the significance of Earth Hour and why reducing electricity can have an impact on our planet. Each class used the hour in different ways including learning some new class games, creating posters about the environment, or making mini-booklets about how we can help our planet.
