Morning Offering to the Sacred Heart

(A Prayer we could pray every morning during the upcoming School Holidays)

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 

I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day 

for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, 

in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, 

in reparation for my sins, 

and for the intentions of our Holy Father for this month.

Sisters of Life

The Sisters of Life are on tour from the US and we are very honoured to host them at Notre Dame next week, on Friday 19th April.

The theme for the event is “Spirituality of Care” and the schedule for the event is as follows:

• 4pm Adoration in St Benedict's Church, Chippendale 
• 5pm Light Refreshments in St Benedict's Hall (across the Courtyard from the Church)
• 5:30pm Talk 1 by the Sisters of Life
• 6:30pm Light Refreshments
• 7pm Talk 2 by the Sisters of Life
• 7.30pm Chanted Compline in St Benedict’s Church

The Sisters of Life have a lot to share about their inspiring work and ministry. Sr Mary Grace, alumna and ex-Chaplaincy staff at Notre Dame will be one of the speakers.

Camino of St Joseph - Overnight Pilgrimage for Men

An Overnight Pilgrimage for men in honour of St Joseph the Worker. The Camino begins with 8.00pm Mass celebrated by Bishop Richard Umbers on Friday 26 April at St Anthony of Padua, Austral, and confession available from 7.00pm.

The Camino will conclude with 6.00am Mass at St Joseph's, Moorebank on Saturday 27 April followed by a hot breakfast & drinks.

Women's Paint & Sip Night

Save the date! Mums, aunties and grandmas’ Paint and Sip on 31 May 2024.

Purpose Camp 2024 for Years 9-12

If you have older children in Years 9 to 12, Sydney Catholic Youth (Archdiocese of Sydney) is running the yearly youth camp in these coming April School Holidays April 22-24. Purpose Camp 2024 will feature talks, games, Mass, Adoration Confessions, opportunities to interact with other youth from the Archdiocese and so much more! Please note, students attending one of the Sydney Catholic Schools can receive a discount of $150. Please see the REC or YMC to get the code, or email  info@sydneycatholicyouth.org. There is also a sibling discount of $50 available, please email info@sydneycatholicyouth.org to access the code.

Cabrini Movie

If any parents, grandparents or carers are interested in watching the movie Cabrini, please email elena.razzoli@syd.catholic.edu.au by Friday 12 April 2024 stating what days of the week /weekend and times will be better for you, and I will organise a get together so that we can all go and watch the movie together.

During this holiday break, I would like to invite you all to sit down with a cuppa and watch this beautiful testimony on the Rosary by Tammy Peterson (Jordan Peterson’s wife). • All St Martha’s Families and Staff Members for a most wonderful Cultural / Harmony Day yesterday! The performances were outstanding and the picnic, assembly and the whole lunch and afternoon were truly filled with great, contagious joy!! I really couldn't feel more blessed to be part of such a beautiful, loving community! A HUGE thank-you to everyone!!
• The Year 6 Students and Parents who attended the Pope Francis Award’s Information Night this past Tuesday and to the 18 students who applied for the Pope Francis Award Program. Thank you for being such wise, committed and selfless leaders!
• All the P&F Committee members, all other Parent Volunteers (Parents Readers, Volunteers at the Uniform Shop, etc) and all the St Martha’s Families for such a wonderful term filled with service, prayer and generosity! May God continue to bless you and your families abundantly.
