Parent Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all parents for your attendance at our Parent Teacher Interviews this week.  We hope that you found the opportunity to discuss your child's learning a little earlier in the year beneficial. The teachers are most appreciative of your support and insight and acknowledge that both are essential in supporting your child's educational journey. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their professionalism and commitment to communicating with you and making themselves available well beyond school hours to host these very important meetings.

Reading in the Holidays

Reading for 20 minutes a day has endless benefits. From language development to strengthening relationships and building empathy, reading is an important way to improve wellbeing and overall learning across all subjects. I visited the students in class today and spoke to them about ensuring that they continue to read something each day of the holidays (and to clean their rooms and offer to help around the house!)

Thank-you

As Term 1 draws to a close, I would like to say thank-you to:

  • the staff: we are blessed at St. Martha’s to have dedicated staff who work tirelessly to ensure the learning and care of our students.
  • the parents: your continued support in working in partnership to ensure the best learning outcomes for your children.
  • the students: your hard work and care for each other and the talents and learning that you share with us daily make our school the wonderful place that it is.

Have a safe and happy holiday. Just a reminder that school resumes for all students on Monday 29th April.
