Multicultural Committee News
The Multicultural Committee wrapped up its term with the second meeting on Monday, March 18th, held during lunchtime (12:45 pm - 1:30 pm) in the Conference Room. The meeting was highly productive, and we enjoyed a delightful lunch with delicious refreshments.
Gloria Baraka, along with ten students, participated in outlining the Leadership training program called Confident Communication. Gloria shared details about their program where they will present their life journeys to the audience. This program, organized by Catholic Care, provides valuable leadership skills and experiences.
During the meeting, we discussed the theme for the Multicultural Festival. We agreed to keep it open for wider discussion and proposed involving more students to enhance ownership and inclusiveness.
The NGSC Multicultural Committee, with its diverse network members, highly values the participation of NGSC parents, friends, service providers, and the wider school community in our events. If you are interested in getting involved in school events like the annual Multicultural Festival (scheduled for October 25 this year) or staying updated on various other events, please consider joining this committee.
For more information or the latest updates on the Multicultural Committee, feel free to contact Vera Dudas via the school Phone 52405800 or stay tuned for updates.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 6th, during lunchtime (12:45 pm - 1:30 pm) in the Conference Room.
On behalf of the Multicultural Committee, wish you all a festive Easter holiday.
