Parent Teacher Interviews

Parent Teacher interviews were held on Wednesday the 27th with parents and teachers having the opportunity to discuss their progress and concerns with teachers.  If families were unable to make interviews, we would encourage you to contact the subject teacher or Year Level Coordinator for feedback.

Harmony Day

Students at North Geelong Secondary College participated in Harmony Day on Thursday March 21.  Senior students proudly dressed in traditional garments and enjoyed the celebration of the day with a focus on displaying their proud heritage.  Students were an example to others and the Senior School Staff were totally impressed by the examples that our senior students set on the day.

General Maths SAC

Students undertaking Year 12 General Maths, completed their major application SAC on Wednesday.  This was a 6-hour task where students completed back-to-back sessions for assessment.  Students were incredible in their application, effort and persistence during this extended session and the senior school wishes to extend a huge congratulations to everyone for their efforts in this task.  Well done.

End of term 1

Students in the senior school have had a very busy end to Term 1 with VCE students all completing final Term 1 SACS and VCE VM students completing some outcomes prior to going on holidays.

Students are encouraged to enjoy the break, refresh and take a stocktake of their progress so far this year.  Students are reminded to enjoy the holidays but also make sure they check Compass and their Google Classrooms for any holiday homework.

Have a great break everyone.
