Term 1 Week 9

Just like that, we are at the end of Term 1. The term has flown by with students undertaking a range of different activities so far including YLead incursion, NAPLAN, Middle Sub School Boxing, Lifechanger and plenty more!

Key dates Term 2

As we head into Term 2 there are a few upcoming events to take note of

  • School Photo Day - 22 April.
  • Curriculum day - 16 May - Student free day.
  • Exam week begins - 3 June.

Parent Teacher Conferences - Progress Reports

P/T conferences were conducted this week, and we would like to thank the Parent/Students who made the effort to check in with their teachers. These conferences provide us a great opportunity to develop those relationships with Parents/Teachers and Students all working together to get the best results moving forward.

The next round of Progress Reports will be released this week. As always, we encourage you to look at these with your child and discuss any successes or concerns with them. Sub-school teams will look over these reports and identify students who have had a great start to the school year and organising a rewards excursion to acknowledge their efforts.

Alpine Leadership Camp

The Alpine Leadership Camp provides an immersive State-wide residential program for Year 9 Government school students which enables them to develop into better citizens and leaders through increased self-awareness, social engagement, community connection, and environmental stewardship. Students will spend 8 weeks away from the College while attending the camp. We wish the following students all the best.

  • Zaylen Mercer
  • Shreebin Acharya
  • Kate Timberlake
  • Caleb Stephenson
  • Georgie Webster
  • Declan Ince

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Easter break, hopefully catching up with family and friends and getting some well-deserved rest.
