If you’re looking for some everyday Maths activities to engage in during the school holidays, the Department of Education’s Mathematics Hub has some suggestions relating to Maths at home. They provide practical ideas to incorporate Maths conversations around outdoor activities, cooking and shopping.

When exploring the hub you’ll also see advice relating to the importance of fostering a ‘growth mindset’ in young learners. It is important that our students understand that everyone can learn Mathematics, rather than forming beliefs that some people can learn Mathematics and some cannot.
