VOCABULARY

Data : Number or quantity of something. 

Collection: gathering information about something. 

Compare: identifying which data set has less and which has more

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Children can explore the data concept at home by doing some simple activities.  Help your child to think of a topic for data collection. For example: What fruit do you like? 

They can also collect the data about vegetables, games, desserts, colours etc.
