School Advisory Council

We will feature two School Advisory Council (SAC) members in each newsletter. Enjoy getting to know them!

Phat Cao

I am working at Monash University in the field of structural immunology. I am glad to be part of St Peter's, a friendly and inclusive community. I strongly appreciate the values St Peter's is bringing to us and our children, exactly following the teaching of our Patron Saint, "Be hospitable to one another without grumbling" (1 Peter 4:9). I hope by taking my part in the School Advisory Council, I could contribute some little to our great community and the benefits of our children's future.

Kind regards,

Phat

Nancy Putrino

My name is Nancy Putrino. As a former student of St Peter’s Primary School and a life-long parishioner of St Peter’s Church, I have a very strong connection to the wonderful community of St Peter’s Clayton.

When the opportunity to become a parish representative for the School Advisory Council presented itself, I was very happy to accept the position. Having taught mathematics and physics for over 30 years in the Secondary School Education System, I certainly have insight as to how schools operate. Hopefully, this will enable me, with my fellow Council members, to make informed decisions. I also look forward to liaising between the school staff, students, and the parish.
