Positive and Negative Halloween Art
This week we had some fun and got into the Halloween spirit by completing an art project that combines learning about positive and negative space in Art with mindful patterning. Students were given the choice of a pumpkin, bat or spider, had to cut and paste their pieces together and decorate with patterns of their choice. This was a highly engaging activity across the school. While many didn't get finished, I am hoping they will find some time to complete them over the next couple of days. Well done everyone!
Tapping, Clapping, and Creating!
Year 4 students have been enjoying exploring rhythm through music. They have been learning about different types of notes and how to keep a steady beat using clapping, percussion instruments, and body movement. Students have had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of musical instruments, creating and performing their own rhythmic patterns. They are developing their listening skills, teamwork, and confidence while having lots of fun making music together.
