Word Teacher's Day

This Friday the 31st October is World Teacher's Day.

This years theme is: "Hat's Off To Teachers"

We will celebrate the amazing teachers at St Joseph's who inspire, support, and empower our children every single day.  Our teachers work hard to differentiate the learning of our students to cater for their individual needs. They are dedicated to their students and their families.

In our small country school we rely heavily on our teachers to go above and beyond the teaching of our children.  This makes our special events happen seamlessly and further supports our families. 

We are blessed to have our wonderful teachers at St Joseph's Tenterfield.

Top soiling our playground 

Currently a wet playground is not our concern, however over this past year with the rain we have experienced, our top playground is very often too wet for students to use.

We have sought help with this problem and in the final week of term we are having this attended to by top soiling and reducing the height of the north western corner of that playground, to hopefully reduce the water pooling.  Thank you to Blaker Civil Pty Ltd for this work.

New School Storage Shed

It may go unnoticed that we have a new storage shed directly off the hall at the side of the staff car park.  Brad Holley Contracting made our shed fit in beautifully with our hall so that it looks as though it has always been there! This shed is to house our folding tables, excess hall chairs and excess stage which were previously filling our kitchen and disabled toilet.

Thanks go to Brad and his team for their wonderful work on the shed and to our P&F Association who paid for the entire structure. What an asset to our school.

A Note for Our Transition Parents 🗓️

Just a quick note: Our leadership team will be travelling to Glen Innes in Week 4 to present our Annual Improvement Plan (AIP) for the key areas of development over the coming twelve months. Unfortunately, this means I won't be able to share our morning discussion time with our transition parents on that specific day - Tuesday 4th November. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience, and I look forward to connecting with you all soon!
