Last Friday we welcomed our 2026 Foundation students and their families to Team Westbreen for Session 1 of our 3 transition sessions. It was lovely to see the children arriving mostly with big smiles but a few a little nervous about what was about to unfold. Same with the parents, mostly smiles, but some apprehension. At the end of the session the children were absolutely beaming as they greeted their families with some of their work they did in the classroom. Seeing their children smiling and so happy made it easy for their parents to relax and smile too.
A HUGE THANK YOU to our FABULOUS Grade 5 & 6 students for being absolute superstars helping the Foundation children into their classrooms 🌟 It’s so lovely to see our Grade 5s stepping up as caring, responsible leaders — showing such kindness and compassion towards the little ones, which they have learnt from watching and following our Grade 6 leaders. We’re so proud of you all! 💛🐵
Here’s to hoping that we will see some sunshine (or, at the very least, just NO rain) this Wednesday and we can have Family Time outdoors 🙏🏽
There will be hula hoops, sidewalk chalks, bubbles, bean toss game and a few new additions to our outdoor games collection. You’ll have to come and see for yourself! No spoilers 😄 But fun is 💯 guaranteed (yes, we’re that confident)! See you all this Wednesday 🥳
Our Window Greenhouse activity last week was a huge success, with families filling the library and enjoying time together. Atika, Rhoda and Miss Kerry are looking forward to returning to the Specialist Building for Family Time once the School Hall repairs are complete. Hopefully not long now! 🤞

Come and join us for Playgroup each Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am!
Bring along family and friends to share in the fun — the more children (and parents!), the more chaos and laughter! For ore information, contact Georgia Poletti Moulds at georgia.poletti.moulds@gmail.com.
