Foundation Colour Mixing

Last week, Foundation students were introduced to the three primary colours, red, yellow and blue. This week, we learnt that these three colours are the foundations for all the other colours of the rainbow. Using plasticine, they mixed yellow and red to make orange, blue and red to make purple, and yellow and blue to make green. This activity helped to develop fine motor skills as students were required to squish, roll, squeeze, pinch and fold the plasticine to mix it together. Students were allowed to bring their colours home. I wonder who's colours will be all mixed together by hometime??!!
