Social Emontional Learning

At the beginning of each year, we spend time as a school focusing on Social and Emotional Learning. It is important we learn to socialise and to connect with one another, to also learn how to manage and regulate our feelings and responses to the things that happen around and to us.

It is important that we get to know our new classmates, teachers and each other.

During the week we have played games together in small groups, with classes and even together as a whole school. On Monday we played Over & Under, Tuesday was Heads and Tails, on Wednesday we danced together, Thursday we celebrated the beginning of our school year with a beautiful Mass and on Friday we had a whole school picnic.
