School Council Nominations

Information regarding the 2026 School Council election process has been sent to families via Compass. Nomination forms may be collected from the officefrom Monday 9th February and must be lodged by 4:00pm on Monday 23rd February 2025. Following the close of nominations, a list of candidates will be posted. Should an election be required, close of ballot will be at 4:00pm on Friday 6th March 2026. School councils play an important role in Victorian government schools. I would encourage any interested parent to contact the school for more information.

 

Event and Date

a) Notice of election and call for nominations- Monday 9h February 

b) Closing date for nominations- 4pm Monday 16th February

c) Date by which the list of candidates and nominators will be posted- Wednesday 18th February

d) Date by which ballot papers will be prepared and distributed (if required)- On or before Friday 20th February

e) Close of ballot (if required)- Friday6th March 3.45pm

f) Vote Count (if required)- Friday 6th March 4pm

g)  Declaration of poll- Friday 6th March 4pm

h) First council meeting to elect office bearers (the Principal will preside)-Thursday 19th March
