Respectful Relationships:

Emotional Literacy - We are learning to understand how people interpret the emotional responses of others through observation of body language.

VOCABULARY

Emotional literacy: refers to a person's ability to recognise, understand, name and express feelings and emotions

Respectful relationship: A respectful relationship is one of mutual respect, trust, good communication, understanding and honesty. Being in a relationship should be a positive experience for both people.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Play a game of charades where you use cues to display a particular body language and the student has to guess what type of emotion you are expressing. There's two examples above of what you might do.
