Junior School Council Representatives for 2024

At Great Ryrie Primary School, we believe that students should have the opportunity to express their opinions and ideas and participate in the decision-making processes of our school.

Student representatives who form the Junior School Council voice the concerns of the students and make suggestions to improve our school. They are students who have been nominated for this important role by their fellow classmates and teacher.

JSC runs a fundraiser every term - this term we will be raising money for the Royal Children's Hospital on Thursday 28th March. Our representatives work hard to give back to our community.

Well done to the following JSC representatives who will be receiving their badges at our next assembly on Friday 1st March:

Random Acts of Kindness Day

Today was Random Acts of Kindness Day at GRPS! The idea behind Random Acts of Kindness Day is to encourage feelings of kindness and brighten up someone's day. Every small act of kindness is important.

The students completed some beautiful kindness activities in their class and the teachers did something kind for another member of staff. Miss Edmondson ran a lunchtime club where children could make necklaces, friendship bracelets and write kindness notes.

There was a wonderful feel around the school!
