Northern Star Chess Tournaments
Term 1 & 2
Northern Star Chess is holding the following Primary Open Interschool Chess tournaments in Terms 1 and 2:
Term 1 (no events during NAPLAN)
- Thurs 7 March at Kangaroo Ground Primary School
- Tues 26 March at Karingal Primary School, Frankston
- Wed 27 March at Our Holy Redeemer in Surrey Hills
Term 2
- Thurs 18 April, the Kryal Castle Chess Shield at Kryal Castle, Ballarat
- Wed 24 April at Doncaster Gardens Primary School
- Tues 7 May at Hampton Park Primary School
- Mon 20 May at St Oliver Plunkett in Pascoe Vale
- Wed 5 June at Peninsula Grammar School, Mt Eliza
- Thurs 13 June at Lilydale Primary School
- Thurs 20 June at Kangaroo Ground Primary School
- Preston Primary School, date to be confirmed
All of these tournaments run from 9.30 to 2.00, cost $25 per player, and are open to school teams of all sizes, including individuals.
