Year 11 Feature

Step up, Embrace the Journey!

Year 11 Students commenced their new academic year with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose. From their first day, it was clear they perceived the significant shift in returning to CCC in 2024 as Senior Stage 6 learners.

Many of our Year 11 students are already stepping up: pursuing exciting work experience opportunities in the medical industry, connecting with our Pathways Coaches to explore future career options, volunteering in new roles/ responsibilities around the College, and creating study schedules to ensure a balanced approach to study, work and social commitments is achieved. It’s never too early to step up and be intentional about personal and academic goals.

This period of transition is ongoing. We are working with all students to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to manage and succeed in their learning this year and beyond. On Friday 15th March, Year 11 will complete Study Skills Sessions to enhance their capacity to prioritise assessment tasks and study for Preliminary and HSC courses. This experience is at school and will provide the students with practical strategies and resources to enhance the organisation and overall quality of their study.

I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with you and your daughters to ensure positive wellbeing and achievement of academic goals.
