Gregg Dreis – Author Incursion report – by Noah & Storey

On Thursday the 14th of March an author called Greg Dreise came to our school and told us lots of things, these are some examples. He showed us a couple of his books, some of them, he only drew the covers but others, he did everything. He also showed us an Aboriginal song. We sang and did the actions and he played the digeridoo. At the start he said that he would only make one mistake but he made twelve. I loved his books, they were so beautiful and one was called The Super Snake. He was so funny.

I would like to welcome The Indigenous People of Australia.

Gregg Dreis played the didgeridoo, it was amazing.

He taught us an indigenous song and the correct way to say some words. It was a very good and very cultural.

He was funny. He talked about Dream Time which is pronounced as KOORI in the indigenous language.

Gregg's books were amazing but my favourite book was The Rainbow Serpent because it was funny.

He also showed us different Aboriginal objects and fascinating things.

Thank You Gregg
