International Students - Lunar New Year Celebration

In some Asian cultures, Lunar New Year indicates the “real” beginning of the year. It is heavily valued, and at Glen Eira College we see this is as a significant opportunity for new international students to socialise and learn about different cultural customs. On 9th February we invited all international students to join us for a traditional Chinese-style lunch. Dumplings, drinks, and red envelopes filled the room with joy and conversation. We want to thank the teachers and Education Support staff who came in to greet international students and offered to help.
