Harmony Day Assembly is fast approaching! We have a 'Parade of Nations', during which students from their different cultural backgrounds parade through the Assembly in national dress or carry a flag from their country of origin.
If your child is interested in being part of our Parade of Nations this year, please complete the registration form via the provided link.
Vaping
This week at Assembly, all students in Years 7 - 12 listened to a seminar on the harms of vaping. Students were also informed of the process when our vape detectors are alarmed. An alert goes directly to our Pastoral Care Team who review the footage and conduct interviews with students. A search may be conducted, and parents may be called. Consequences for vaping from our Vaping Policy were also clearly articulated. We encourage you to talk with your children about the damages of vaping, and reinforce with them the process and consequences. Resources and lessons will continue to be rolled out in the coming weeks and months as part of our Care@Clayfield and HPE curriculums. Students who are found to be vaping will also be given education supplied by the Lung Foundation.
