Foundation P

Foundation P have had a fabulous start to their first year of schooling.

We have been having lots of fun learning and getting to know each other. 

Last week, we read the book 'Clark the Shark.'  The students did a great job following instructions to create Clark. The students then completed a sentence task based on the book. 

In Maths, one of the topics we have been working on this term is Pattern. The students have been copying, completing and making their own patterns with the use of concrete materials. 

All the Foundation students participated in an incursion 'Introduction to Wild Primary' run by Drama Toolbox.  During the incursion sessions, students were involved in Wellbeing based activities.  The students used puppets to role play situations based on starting school, decision making, team work, mindfullness and emotional regulation.
