Term 3 Week 6

Assistant Principal's Report

Message From Shevani Moodley

Term 3 - Week 6

Dear Families,

There is no denying that Book Week is one of my favourite weeks in a school, and what a wonderful celebration it has been at Williamstown North Primary School! To hear and see the students all talk so excitedly and enthusiastically about their love for literacy has been delightful. Whilst this was my first experience of Reading and Writing Together is Magic, I can definitely see why the evening has run for 35 years. Well done to all students who wrote beautiful poetry and bravely shared their creativity with their peers and families on the night. I would also like to extend an enormous thank you to all the teachers for their hard work and planning that resulted in a very successful evening.

It has also been wonderful to see students and their families at the Book Fair that has been successfully organised and facilitated by Sue, who we thank for her effort and dedication.

The Father’s Day stall was another successful event on Thursday, with students indulging their special people with gifts, ready for Sunday 1st September. To further celebrate the wonderful males in our lives, we cordially invite you to a special Brekkie to be held in front of the canteen next Friday 30th August, from 8am until about 8:50am.

As the year speeds by, we begin planning for 2025 and organising Prep enrolments for the new year. If you have a younger sibling starting at WNPS next year, please complete your enrolment form either online or at the office.
